This FAQ has all of the information you should know before registering for Kita-Kon 2012. For information on the event policies check the "event faq" here.
Q: When and where is Kita-Kon being held?
A: Kita-Kon will be held at the Valhalla Inn on September 7th-9th 2012.
Q: How much will registration cost?
A: If you pre-register for Kita-Kon, tickets cost $40.00 each. If you plan on paying at the door, tickets will cost $15.00 Friday, $20.00 Saturday, and $20.00 Sunday.
Q: Are there any age limits at the convention?
A: The convention is open to all age groups, although, there are a few 18+ panels that will require photo ID to enter. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian at all times.
Q: Are there any group rates at hotels in the area?
A: We will have group rates at our event hotel only.
Q: If I have pre-registered and can no longer attend, can I get a refund?
A: If you have pre-registered and it is before January 1st 2012, we can offer you a refund. However, from January 1st 2012 onward, we will no longer be offering refunds.
Q: What is the Kita-Kon Winterfest?
A: The Kita-Kon Winterfest is a one day gathering that is being held on February 20th 2012 at Lakehead University. The events will be similar to what will be run during the course of the convention.
